if you can stretch your budget a little bit though, he's another BARGAIN.

These are actually flow forged wheels weighing only 20 lbs in a 19x9.5 wheel, for only $259/wheel:

This might be what you are looking for:

They come in black or silver. Here is a whole thread about them, with pictures:

I don't how I missed this thread before. The silver ones look awesome. They may be moving to the top of my list. These combined with Continental Extremecontacts will shave 10 pounds off each corner for me.

Some great options here, I'm excited to see what this kind of weight reduction will feel like when I upgrade. I'll start with finally taking all the Christmas clothes out of my trunk.

There are plenty of super cheap wheel options out there but I can't bring myself to do it without any added performance benefit. I did see beefcake is selling race stars for $150 right now but I think that's a bit extreme for daily lol

I've a few questions that are somewhat related:

when considering 18 vs 19, let's say in the 9-9.5" width, 275ish tires across the board

1) how much lighter (on average) would same-brand 18 be to 19?
2) which has more tire options?
3) which has cheaper tire options? (I know it seems like smaller should be cheaper, but that's not always the case when it comes to more popular vs less popular sizes)

Thanks

Probably only 1 to 2lbs difference
18 likely has more tire options and is definitely cheaper too.

Not sure if it's changed but 19" tires have always been a pretty expensive size. Just seems 18's and 20's are more common which = cheaper.

1. It depends on size but as Kbreese said about 1-2 lbs at most

2. 19s have more tire options to be realistic

3. It depends on the type of tire, 18s will be a tad bit cheaper depending on the option you go with.

Yea the 18x8 version of those Advanti wheels will actually save a good chunch of money if you're ok with the smaller wheels. Only $173 each and tirerack lists them as 20lbs each

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...=2015&autoModClar=EcoBoost+I4+Performance+Pkg
Hmm, The 19x9.5 ones are also only 20lbs too. That weight has been verified too, by a member here who weighed them. Either Tire Rack listed the wrong weight for the 18x8's or it's just something with the way the build the wheel hub.

For the extra $86/ea I'd much rather have the 19x9.5's, but to each their own :)

Yea tirerack actually lists the 19s at 21lbs so the 18s might actually be more like 19lbs

The weights are correct. Search for advanti. Another member weighed them.
