When I went out in my garage today I noticed that my 2016 shelby GT350s center stack radio buttons were on. I thought a door might be open and they are all shut. Anyone know how to turn them off?

Just the center is on? Nothing else?
I notice sometimes Sync 3 would stuck in a mode where the screen looks black with back light on.
Try open the door and close the door.

I did all that. Once I started the car and turned the radio on then shut the car off, the lights stayed off. But everytime the radio display said shutting down to save battery. Oh well they are off now. I'll keep an eye on them.

You can turn the radio on by pushing the radio power button regardless of if the car accessories are on or not. Could be your radio power button is sticking.

having the same issues as we speak.. also my brake lights are also staying on all the time, climate control numbers are also blank on the sync. took it in once to ford. They said that they fixed the issue. It now is completely random when the issue pops up. drove the car 300 miles with no issues. got home, parked it overnight, got in it the next day and the electrical issues are back. just replaced the battery not to long ago as well to try to mitigate a possible battery / low voltage issue. I am convinced it is the BCM in the passenger kick panel that has went poo poo. well if I get a fix, i will pass it along. for now gonna go unplug all of the harnesses from the BCM tonight and double check the contacts. Wish me luck..

My current question is: "Why, after nearly a year of faultless electronics behavior, would that 'Shutting Down To Save Battery' display suddenly come to life after five minutes of Audio without the engine running?" Some songs don't finish before the thing shuts itself off.

I thought maybe a faulty battery charging system, but on a 40-mile test run the voltage was around 14.5, sometimes as high as 14.9. In the threads about "Can I fit a stronger battery in the stock location?" there is a discussion regarding Cold Cranking Amps: first, I'm not certain that would have anything to do with the car's system taking extreme measures to protect the battery; second, the six-month-old thread discussed replacing the original 390 CCA with the later 470 CCA version: third, my car's battery is labeled 590 CCA.

So, I think there must be some explanation other than faulty battery. Can't imagine what, though. Everything else works fine. I wonder if there is a Forscan procedure to just disable the message and the turn-it-off function.

PS: My test run was more like 65 miles, and seems to have resolved the problem. Upon further review, there is no message and no shut-off during a half-hour engine-off audio session. I think it's a suggestion from the smarty-pants car that I should drive it more, and more often. Some kind of "learning" function going on there?
