M6G members have been tearing into their 2015 Mustangs and weighing each component to see where weight can be shed and/or optimized with aftermarket parts.
As an example of the low-hanging fruit available for enthusiasts to effectuate some addition by subtraction in performance, BMR Tech discovered that the factory GT Performance Package front brake rotors weigh 33.4 pounds each.
With aftermarket rotors such as the Aerospace Lightweight Street Rotor coming in at only 14.3 pounds each, this should have members very excited this one modification could shed 40 pounds or more.
