So after reading countless of hours on forum sites I want to get a 15 stang but I can’t decide between the EB premium or the gt premium i want the pp on either models a friend of mines keeps telling me get the eb because its lighter and turbo and just upgrade the turbo and i will be a beast. but then the gt you get the roar of the powerful v8 comment below on recommendations. thanks

If initial cost, insurance, and fuel economy are not factored in, I don't see why you wouldn't get the GT. Modding the EB just makes it competitive with a stock GT. Modding the GT starts making it competitive with 6 figure cars.

Yeah if money/fuel economy isn't an issue, gt or even a 2016 gt350 lol.

Why spend more money to tune an EB to get it up to GT levels and void your warranty.

I mean I hear small tunes for an intake probably won't void your warranty, but a better tune to go from 300hp to around 430? That can't be good for your warranty.

V8. I respect those that chose the EB and the V6, but when you start modding money poured in to the v8 will go a lot longer than money in the EB or v6 would. Plus driving that V8 is freaking addictive.

What are your buying factors? Cannot answer this question without understanding your situation.

GT. You'll always regret it any time you see one driving by later.

Agreed. Same with color. Trust me. I made that mistake once already with a 2015.

If you get the turbo kit from MAP performance the EB puts down something like 420/420 at the wheels just FYI. But even just with a tune and decent tires the EB runs similar times to stock GTs. Really the advantage of the EB is gas savings and lower purchase cost but if big power (over 400hp at the wheels) is really your main concern just get the GT

If $$$$'s don't really come in to your equation, get the V8.
Nothing will ever match that primal throb!

As everyone else has said it makes no sense to go Ecoboost if money is no issue. If money is an issue then you just have to see what your budget allows for. Personally I'd sooner drop the Performance Pack from the GT Premium instead of getting an Ecoboost Premium w/PP (fully loaded). They'd end up being around the same price... but that's just me.

If you go with the eb make sure you get the premium option...it gives you the sport mode option which makes a lot of difference...I have driven thev8 and the eb sport mode and the difference isn't all that much...plus I get 25th in city driving
