tl;dr How much dirt (rough %) can you remove just by hose vs Foam gun + hose vs foam cannon/pressure washer. NO contact.
i 100% understand that no contact washes are not a solution and that's not what I'm aiming for. I just like to have rough numbers to compare for the half ass washes I do...
Yeah I guess. I just thought with rollout and track prepped surfaces, C/D and chevy would advertise like 2.5 seconds, and people getting 2.8 would be happy lol.
So i don't mean to start any fanboy wars, but how is every idiot on youtube getting 2.8/2.9 0-60 times on the new corvette NOT on a track, while most people here are getting 4.6 seconds on their advertised 3.9. That sucks..
I get the c8 can put traction down better, but i thought the track vs...
Wait so even though ford and all the articles touted 3.9 0-60 with a10 and pp, in reality you're saying (assuming heated tires and perfect track prepped surface), you'd also need magneride and premium package? Which would be another like 6k or so?
Does magneride affect acceleration?
Also is drag mode only available on PP?
ALSO, what is the difference between launch control vs just poor mans launch control of foot on brake and revving to whatever rpm. I know the latter is bad for the engine, but what is mechanically happening in launch...
^ I know I won't personally get 3.9 easily or at all cause of rollout and surfaces, but still a metric i'm using just for conversation. Wanting to know how much acceleration I'd lose without the PP IF I still get similar or better tires.
If it's mostly the tires though, and as someone who always gets aftermarket wheels, I wonder if the PP isn't worth it for me then to get a sub 4 seconds 0-60, as i'd upgrade the tires to better rubber anyway.
Thanks all. Feel a bit better.
I get there's no 2020 base gts on the lot, but man, if I was in the market i'd be willing to wait a few months and just order it, considering it's fall/winter soon in vancouver, to pay 5k more for a 2020 with 5 years warranty included, more hp/torque for the...
tldr:
1) bought 2015 mustang gt base with Auto for 36k, sold 5.5 years later with maybe 3-4k in mods, at 45k KMs, $5800 in claims/accidents/repairs. sold for $26k after 4 days of listing it, listed at $28k. good deal?
2) Used car dealer i sold it to listed it at 30k and sold within 4 days...
I can't for the life of me find it on google. Just article after article about the 3.9 with a10 and pp.
If the 2018 GT w/ A10 without PP is pretty far off like 4.3/4.4, what is it about the PP that helps so much?
Is it mainly tires? Gearing? Or is launch control only available with PP?
Or Americans, but I assume your fuel is better.
The beefcake special stage 1. It says 800+hp and 9 second ish quarter mile. I assume that's on e85 though. What can I expect for a poor canadian who can only get 94 (people say not true 94) or 91 octane in terms of HP and quarter mile for a 2015...
This is my first car and I'm not a confrontational person so I'm not good at just walking up to Ford desk and demanding things especially since I don't know where to start.
From what I've read, a lot of dealers don't fix things until warranty is up and you'll pay out of pocket. Obviously not...
