If there was going to be a new GT500 relatively soon I would think that we would have seen more cars driving around. The cars we have seen I'm not sure they are GT500 mules. This is just based on the way Ford has done things in the past.
My bet is that Ford's priority list isAbsolutely. There's a every chance the "Twin Turbo GT500 Mule" that was spotted with heavy front camo was, in fact, an '18MY GT350.
Now, an '18 GT350 might debut the same time as the rest of the V6/Ecoboost/GT facelifted '18s at Detroit in January, but I very much doubt we'll see anything GT500 related until a year later.
I didn't mean to suggest there would not be a 2018 GT350. My bet is that it will just be a moderate change in appearance in keeping with the GT changes to the lights etc. Not something that needs a lot of mule testing like a new GT500 would.I'd be surprised if the GT350 disappeared for a single model year, but anythings's possible
I'm just looking forward to whatever Ford is getting ready to offer us.....just wish I knew what n when
