My answer is I only buy American for starters. I also believe that both the GT350 as well as the ZL1 1LE will always been known as iconic specialty vehicles along with my Ford RS. In an age that is 95% automatic, I think it's cool that these 3 in my garage can only be had as manuals. :cheers:
It is harsh, but I don't find it offensive or annoying at all, I guess after 30 years of sports cars, I am just used to it. I had a 99 Viper GTS and loved that ride too. :cheers:
The shifter feels great and the gear changes are solid. So far and just like the GT350, it's definitely a drivers...
I just know one of them is going to pee on the other one! Just got the ZL1 on Friday and I love it. It will fit into my garage nicely! I can't wait to break it in and open her up!
Initial observations:
1) Ride/suspension is awesome. For all those folks that say it's too harsh, they must just...
Lead foot Gray is a sweet color. If my RS wasn't Stealth Gray (also a great color), I would have seriously considered selling my Black 17 for an 18 in Lead foot.
LOL on the gas tank, it is a tiny bugger for sure.
If you think it's a blast as is, try getting the Mountune B3 package and an intercooler....Holy Smokes!! Pure Go-Cart!! :headbang:
Just had my recall done at Victor Ford based on the feedback from another member on here. Was in and out in 2.5 hours. They had already done a few recalls, so they are pretty efficient at the job at this point. They topped of the oil and showed me the take-off lines (Which looked perfect), no...
Thank you for the info! Highland Park Ford ordered my lines, but also gave me the warm and fuzzy comment; "We haven't done one of these yet"...
I'm going to call over to Victor Ford and have it done there instead! :cheers:
I finally decided to see what Ford has to say so I called my dealership today;
They looked up my car on "Oasis" and confirmed the Oil Cooler Line Assembly recall/parts. Bulletin stated that parts will be not be available until Mid-March. Bulletin continued to say that Ford will send a 2nd...
I agree 100% with you that this process has been a complete failure on Ford's part, I'm just not sweating it and will continue to drive the car as intended.
The weather is so awesome in the Midwest, I decided to take the GT350 out of hibernation this weekend.
Went on a few "spirited" drives so far...Plenty of hard launches and 8k RPM romps.
Guess what...I'm still alive, smiles from ear to ear. Car is fine, didn't lose a hose or burn to the...
Mighty broad brushed statement.
I lost my driveshaft and had to be towed to my dealership on a Friday. Ford overnighted a complete driveshaft assembly and I was back on the road Monday afternoon. Seems like pretty awesome service to me....
