Talked to my salesman Tuesday.
GT350's will be built in 18-19 model years.
No GT500 until 2020.

Salesmen are usually the last to know, wouldn't put too much stock in his insider information.

C'mon Ford.
Just make an ecoboost Voodoo, put it in an improved GT350, add in the 10 speed, call it the GT350KR AND CALL IT A DAY.

The car would dinglrhsndedly end any hopes of the competition.

All of that except, call me crazy, an ecoboost roadrunner. I don't know how well a turbo voodoo could hold up to fords torture tests. Even so, I'm assuming they will go supercharged on a 5.0-5.2 range of cross plane crank displacement per how rumours are going. I hope they go TT but the fact is they can make around 750 with new supercharger technology on a CPC 5.2 and have the upper hand. Sure they can get beat shortly after but that leaves them open to come back again. Just seems like it is the way it is going. Kudos to Ford for having the cards in their favor.

ZL1, Hellcat, Scatpack, GT350, if I'd had these choices with the suspension we enjoy today back in 1976 I'd have a heart attack!Loving the torque of the 3.55:1 without a supercharger.

Don't believe him most all salesman don't have a clue. When I went to look at Mustangs I new more about them then they did. The salesman is just there to give you the feel goods until they get you to the business manager.

Business manager here said no GT350 after 2018. The GT500 will take over from there. I suspect we'd hear a different story at every dealership in the country :paddle:

You should have bought the 14, because I think that will be the last of the gt500s. Hope I am wrong but the longer we hear nothing the more I think that there will be nothing.
