Started preparations to remove that body colored rear bumper diffusor insert so it can get painted, turns out is is not an insert but actually permanently connected to the rest of the bumper.
So we ended up removing the black plastic insert around it. I had no idea it was constructed like this.

on every valance install ever and talked about 1000 times on here because base owners complain they can't have valances and premiums always need to cut that lower part off for rtr/roush/gt350 valances.

installed my diode dynamics front turn signals and 4th brake light today, as a professinal installer i figured out why so many people have had problems with the connector pin. The instructions dont tell you to remove the pin keeper in the front of the connector. it is off white and using the little screwdriver gently remove it. Put the pin in matching the others and reinsert the keeper and DONE

I was wondering why people were having trouble but I watched the video and it is explained in the video. But if it's not in the directions and didn't watch the video that is the likely cause to some people's problems.

I've had mine on 7000 miles, no issues. I even have extra weight on it from a metal license plate frame. The bottom is a little scraped, but that's it.
