I suspect mostly aesthetic. I haven’t noticed anything different from a performance standpoint
Thanks. I thought so as well, but increased downforce etc., just thought I’d check.

That is a beauty!!! Where did you get the rocker strips?

Don
We got the rocker stripes from Big Worm Graphix - very reasonable and fast shipping. Had them by installed by a local shop.

If anything, it will add some drag.
Yeah it’s not a pass through vent so I was thinking that as well. But, in any case, it’s not enough to matter for what I use it for. Just might have pushed me closer to the “add to cart” button if there was also another gain!

I just went with black badges and lug nuts. The gloss black would add another nice touch to the color scheme.

Me too! Wonder if anyone has them on a Atlas Blue car...

I suppose they install with tape?
I've got them on Atlas Blue:

Sorry, wasn't very sunny in that pic, so the paint isn't popping much. These are the gloss black ones as well.

On another note, just spent the last week in SoCal, missing my Mustang, only to return to Michigan's crap weather.

Been feeling a little down the last couple days, so got in some good car therapy with my son. Installed the FP Bullitt lower grille and swapped the chrome pony for a Ford OEM black pony. The pony was a pain, broke every tab trying to put the nut on. Good thing I have rolls of 3M tape laying around, ended having to tape it.

The grille swap is tedious but not overly difficult, it’s held on by plastic tabs. Once you get a couple started it goes quick but those first few are a chore. Busted a couple knuckles in the process. I took my front wheels off to make access to the fender nuts a little easier.

The Bullitt lower grille is one of my favorite mods. Looks so much nicer than the factory matte black piece that looks completely out of place.

I agree, it should’ve come gloss black from the factory

I have always been a fan of the Classic style mustangs, and the emblems from that time are just so slick looking! So i ordered some Emblems for the 68’ mustang and installed them on the side of my 2016!

Nice! I’ve been considering doing that emblem on the rear deck lid, lower right corner like the Cali special had.

A little under the hood clean up and maintenance: engine cover back on, new filter thanks to @shogun32.

Todo: find my battery cover, find engine cover hardware, clean cowl area.
