IDK if the attached will instill confidence, or sew doubt.

2022, M1, HP. On the front, I have a 19x10, +35, LMR wheel with a 285 Michelin.

In one picture, you'll notice the tire flash is just brushing past the strut., firm enough to keep it clean.

In the second photo, the flash measures 15 mm.

I'll make an assumption the flash-to-strut brush is worth 5mm. Let's say you're moving in with a +40. If my assumption is correct, that'd leave about 10mm for tire flex and alignment changes.

Thank you for the pics and advice:
This has always been my biggest question/risk with this setup. I can’t find anyone that had done this with stock non-hp wheels.
Even the rears could be in question with a 52.5 offset and 295 but seems to be less of a concern than the fronts.
So frustrating.
I really don’t want to do 275/35 in the front because of the gender gap.

question for those who swapped steering wheels on their mach 1s - is it the torque to yield bolt or the T50 bolt? can I reuse the factory bolt or do I need to order a new torque to yield bolt?

thanks in advance

I reused the factory bolt. I added a drop of blue loctite on top of what was there. Didn’t need to but did. Either way it’s not going anywhere. Just torqued it to whatever the spec was.

Idk if this helps: " The torque spec for the Steeda Q850 Mustang Loaded Alcantara Steering Wheel with Red Sightline (2018-2023) is 35 ft lbs."

Personally I'd just run 275/40 on all 4
That’s what I’m running for my winter/all-season setup
RTR tech 7's with 275/40R19 squared.. Looks great filling the fenders.
Guess I just wanted the more aggressive fat tire on the rear look plus a little more traction when I run the E.

I have a Manual.

Really Prodigal sums it up. i was gonna use the term more "Punchy" feeling. Also have the Steeda 2 piece rotors to install, continue to shed some weight.

thoughts on the drive shaft? I'm heavily debating.
accelleration is much more instantaneous. i have no data to support it but it feels like there is a more "direct" connection and therefore less delay or slack in the drive train. the weight savings is undeniable. the 2 piece shaft plus the carrier bearing and hanger are absolute pigs. I consider the $1800 I spend on the QA1 CF DS the best mod Ive made for any price on my M1. I have had zero NVH what so ever with it.

Minor visual upgrade from a post here a few weeks back. Vinyl decal over the crappy looking warning labels on our visors. First pic is one installed for comparison plus finished product.
Zuckster Graphics if anyone else is interested.
