Can someone explain to me why you'd want the side marker illuminated?

This is the first time my attention has been drawn to this on cars and now i'm trying to spot vehicles that have them on the road.

Personally I want to hide them - I'd rather they weren't even there, wouldn't want to draw attention to them!

Just did my first mod to the Mustang - JLT 3.0 Oil Separator. Very easy to fit, sits very nicely in the engine bay.

Nice tantash. From my experience the cover will come off very easy with very little effort with a warm engine bay as opposed to stone cold.

Exactly correct. When I tried to get the cover off over the weekend the engine was cold and it was much easier when today, when the engine was nice an warm.
