What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

Does anyone know why the Ford Racing oil catch can is only available for the drivers side (Aussie RHD) and not the passenger side? Is it the way that blow by gasses rotate inside the crankcase? Or is there a breather between the two banks valve covers?

Apparently the passenger side air is pretty clean so doesn't really need one.

Made some boot straps

Thats what I did too! But I found it failed at the rings after a few pulls.

Do i ended up screwing it in from the inside of the boot and capped it off with a washer and bolt. The screw/strap itself would have to fail before anything else!

As normally happens when I go to work on the car there was problems.. got the CAI from [MENTION=17455]Liber[/MENTION] who got it from a member on here in the US. Unfortunately the guy did not send him the 1" tube for the resonator or the 2 torx20 screws needed for the air temperature insert, the stock ones do fit the thread on the airaid CAI. So we went to repco and were able to get a piece of tube, couldn't find any screws though. Will have to wait until the local nuts and bolts store is open tomorrow and try and find 2. All part of the fun lol.
