How can I tell if I have rev 1 or rev 2 ?
I think from reading this long thread last night that the Rev 2 says it on it.

what was the difference between rev 1 and 2?
The original rev 1 fit the 2015 S550s, I think somewhere along the line, Ford changed something behind the grille. I think it is the hex pocket, it became deeper. Visually it looks no different from the front of the car, but from behind the hex pocket the geometry had changed and caused serious binding when the big mouth was installed.

About a year ago, I made the design revision to accommodate all the changes Ford made to their stock GT grilles. Fortunately, this new accommodation allowed people with Cervini's griles, MMD-V grilles and RTR grilles to also be able to fit big mouths. That's the story in a nutshell. There were no new design revisions since then. :amen:

It doesnt quite line up well with the GT350 intake. Here is why.

The stock shroud that the big mouth snaps into, doesnt fit into the GT350 airbox inlet. I dont know why ford did this. Very stupid IMO.

Why would ford make a part that doesnt fit on a ford very well? Maybe im missing something...
