It seems to be a fuel issue. Car cranks but won’t start after having been warmed up. Could be vapor lock. Tuner says everything looks perfect. May have to try going back to the EB tune to double check. I would think others would have experienced something similar with how popular this kit and...
Has anyone had issues with the newer DW400 pump with the internal check valve? This is what comes in the 2015-17 stage 2 kit. Datalogs showing lien conditions in beginning stages of WOT tuning with Lund. It is lien in both EB and Lund tunes and I have been recommended to put the stock fuel pump...
Check with your tuner on what specific parts they recommend for your build and buy a tuner kit. Only California idiots like myself need waste thousands on poor running Carb tunes and kit included injectors that tuners don’t want to touch.
Anyone have info on the modified fuel pump that comes with the 2015-17 stage 2? They made 2 different versions apparently one with a modified regulator and one with a stock regulator. Mine is the stock regulator.
AED will tune it with LU47’s. I might be switching from the DW-78’s to LU47’s if EB will send me that tune. Not wanting to change injectors every two years for smog.
I might be going up one size as well. With 3.73s on my 2016 have to be in fourth gear for full traction. Basically have to have room to go 100mph to get on it. Going from a 3.25” pulley and a 81” belt to a 3.5” pulley and I assume an 81.5” belt. Should pull 1-2 psi and 40-50hp maybe?
My 2015-17 stage 2 kit came with DW-78s. AED won’t tune for them or any DW injectors for that matter(for coyotes). Lund said they will but recommend changing and won’t chase injector related issues with them. Both tuners have experienced engine failures with DW-78s. AED said they could tune it...
