Maybe @beefcake can help you get to the 7.80 range as he runs a single turbo setup as well.
He's been helpful with few things. I ordered my Plazmaman from him. On the BL Fabs Facebook group he's sent me a few pics and seems like a good dude! I think my car will be much lighter than his but we shall see. I've stripped EVERYTHING from the car since I was going with a single. It's manual everything. I'm doing a Motec too (not that it will go quicker) but hopefully all the stuff I deleted I won't have any electrical issues.

@Leonidas514 looks like youre doing everything right on the build. Only thing i dont see if a driveshaft ;) But with the right suspension you should be hitting 8s easy. then make adjustments and get to 7s.

I'm waiting on it. I need to measure the distance with the new trans and diff. I'm going carbon fiber.

Installed the Flaming River manual rack. I did have to grind about 1/2 off of the BMR k member to install it. Finished the rear Aerospace brakes.

Finally get a chance to test this Tuesday. Decided to change things up a bit and upgraded to a 94. This has been a long process but I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. I had to make a torque convertor change since the car wouldn't build boost but fingers crossed I'm good to go. I'll keep every posted.

Hey there... been a while
No. Those are still Aerospace. I swapped out the rear rotors to thier new style lightweight ones. It was kind of a pain because you have to disassemble the caliper to remover the spacer to accommodate the thinner rotor.

As far as the trans, just a TH400, reverse shift pattern. 2.10 1st (hoping that will work) but recently went with a PTC 2 piece convertor because the Coan convertor was just way too tight. The trans has dump valves too. I also upgraded to a Reid case and the trans was built by a local guy National Performance Transmission. He builds a few of the local guys trannys.

How do you plan to control the dump valves?

Second pass on the new turbo setup. Im very pleased so far with what the car has accomplished. This is only the second pass on the car with a very soft 60ft and me letting out pretty early. Also with pretty minimal boost @24lbs. This BL Fabs kit will definitely put this car pretty deep in the 7's next outing. The car is geared wrong so that's my next project.

I added some Anderson Composite doors too. By far the most difficult job I've done in the car. The window regulators didn't fit right, the door handles holes had to be Dremel'd. Seems like most of the fitment was not good. They look super nice though and worth the 70lb savings.

Oooooo nice! Looks like you are well on your way into the 7s!!!!! Congrats on getting everything together. Now comes the fun part of learning the car and chipping away at the ET. That's my favorite part.

I can't wait man! It's funny you say that about learning the car. When the car left the line I've never felt anything like it. The reason I let out is I couldn't find the parachute handle and I guess I took my foot off the gas subconsciously when I kind of panicked. I'm definitely hooked now... I've never felt anything like it. Thanks for always chiming in and thanks for the tips along the way.

Probably would have been 165-168mph had you stayed in it. You're kicking ass with only a few passes in. Lots more success to come!
