You were congratulating everyone for their prior roush purchases because they are emissions legal (even though prior Whipples are as well) because some day in the future Whipple might not be able to meet emissions. Got it.
All I’m saying is, from this point forward having the Roush MAY be the best choice in the long run

I think it is what it is. Either way it doesn’t look good. Hackers will find a way. The public is fucked.

Not yet available for the 2021 from what I was told.

If you look on the Whipple website, in the first paragraph for stage for 2018-2021. It states that the stage 2 for 2018-2021, is 50 state legal.

Whipple can’t even get a kit out. Not good for business. VMP is grabbing a lot of would be Whipple customers due to no inventory.
COVID-19 2020 ftw.

Sorry for the stupid question... What am I looking at here? I see the blower lid in the background...

The tiny ports is the main focus. The casting shift would be secondary.

Its funny, u guys must be so happy with all the talk about the EPA screwing with the aftermarket that you went with the Roush Stage 2 kit, most of you are on the emission’s kit with the Stage 2 tune and have nothing to worry about vs the Edelbrock & Whipple guys and as we all know the Stage 2 runs easy 10’s on pump gas

Ford & Roush for the win 😎
The Edelbrock Stage 2 is more powerful and 50 states legal......with a better warranty.....unfortunately I know......about 10 more mph on the dragy in 1/4...with me weighing insano fatty weight....ive run 10.8s on the street on Nittos...and yes MY dragy is actually a tenth slower than 1000ft track incremental when test and slightly stingy on the mph....

I would agree that I'd be sweating custom stuff and more likely I'd order the bone stock stage 2 Eddy again than the extra performance of the whipple or needing the crank brace of the procharger.....in today's EPA climate....use a Nitto 555R2 and call it a day regardless of what it runs...However I was very jealous of your forced fan running after hot stop feature....so useful imho...

That's not to say I'm not impressed with Roush basically giving everyone with a phase 1 kit a very noticeable and economical upgrade...they done you right after the sale....thats almost never done.....
It gets glossed over but the phase 2 for the money and no affect on your warranty is imho quite a value......

Happy rips to all......

Unless EB has updated their tuning, the drivability has been severely criticized by many who have their kits. The Roush calibration has zero bad behavior.

My local tuner who sees all of the kits weekly actually called me to tell me how impressed he was with my phase 2 Roush's road manners. And he's one picky guy!

The difference in my car from when I picked it up on the 29th to the new updated tune is absolutely night and day.

Personally I can't say Stage 2 was bad really when I got the right size n20 pill in my bypass line....
However yes once I started doing my own tuning I got it to run how I wanted it and it was much better to ME at least, fit my desires and style...

That's why I praised the way Roush handled it, a pessimist would say they gave you Stage 2 instead of a new blower design but being frankly honest if phase 2 had been out before I purchased I probably would have gotten it instead....

I truly think it was HUGE that Roush kept on the tune and gave yall a noticeable improvement in tune refinement, power, and temp control from earlier kits....and on a true street car which is all I ever desired, it's all anyone needs..

Roush kept refining the tune, where Edelbrock got their Carb certification and moved on.....the stock Edelbrock tune doesn't even let it add timing at WOT based on knock sensor feedback not ANY ( whereas iirc correctly Roush allows 3)...however it starts high on the 93 tune at 17 and it's cooling is so good it's not gonna pull much if at all....now I'm specifically talking about Stage 2...Stage 1 was full of problems and honestly Stage 2 is to much for the stock platform on 93 as I learned the oh so very hard way.......

I'd be proud of Roush not often a company gives you that economical of a real update that far into the product life cycle....

Remember, we told you early on that you most likely didn't have the Phase 2 tuning to allow the extra ponies.

Now, how about those tires :)
