As I said before, I found out that this unit uses Windows ce 6.0 and after the Windows boots up it loads the image of the software.

so for those of us who aren't "up to speed" on the software world, what is the significance of the software being Windows? I'm seriously interested in more than "that software is shit, this is better".

I have seen the YouTube vid on this unit and it's awesome. For the price. A lot more features than the tomtop unit and less buggy. I can't wait to order one. I'm almost tempted to order it already for the $500.

They all use wince, but this unit uses a different software (different executable file)
which means that if anyone has experience in wince and developing,they can maybe change the software etc
