Now that I have installed the Watson 4 point bar, Halo OMP race seat and already have a rear wing fitted.. my rear view is somewhat compromised.

Asking if anyone has tried or runs a wide view rear mirror in their track car.?

did you not learn anything?

And this is probably what prompted GM to implement camera-view rearview mirrors. Only available on 2SS or other relatively high trims. My SS/1LE did not have it.

I've used a wink 5 panel in the past. But I don't think it takes long to get used to a convex mirror. Either is good in my mind.

So damn funny. Anytime I hear someone mention the rear view mirror. That scene comes to mind.

that's why I keep posting it. Never gets old. Though Jackie Chan as 'race engineer' is a hoot as well.

@Bridgie. I noticed the same thing after seats and 4pt went in. Adding that to the factory swing/Gurney flap really did limit the size of the visible opening.

I see there are aftermarket camera-based mirrors. (Credit: @shogun32 ). That seems like the solution to me. Anyone have a recommendation?

John Freund Racing makes a lot of nice affordable products. He has a mirror system similar to what you are talking about. The link below is to the mirror system but I encourage you to view all the products.

In all fairness, he does own a WEC team.
