6GR R-specs with 325/30/19 Continental Extreme DW tires out back. Right click, then "view image" for large resolution.

Debadged 350R?! — hmm I am tempted to do this now. Assumed it was sacrilege

I like the clean look of it without the logo

I like to disassemble things.
I think Ford did a fantastic job on the badging for the GT350. Minimalist and extremely well done. That said, I care little for names being plastered everywhere. If somebody comes up behind me and doesn't know what car it is because it isn't spelled out for them then too bad. The shape/stance/sound should be what draws you in and not a mere badge, IMHO.

I spent some time sketching up replacement badges in Solidworks. My intention was for billet aluminum with laser burned faces for a superb level of detail. Completely custom and just for fun. Problem is, I sold the car and have moved on. However, I did share a centercap with someone in industry that is interested in offering something. We'll see how much of a whirlwind 2018 turns out to be and what reaches fruition.

On edit...FRPP offered (for a while anyway) a blank decklid trim panel without badge holes.

They were in demand but FRPP decided to no longer carry them. I was told by my FRPP dealer that there was a defect issue whereby panels were being supplied that had imperfections on the panel face. I had one that was defective too. For whatever reason, instead of addressing the issue the part was no longer produced. Of note, they are now selling blank panels that came off the 2018 production line. These are direct fit (as the decklid wasn't changed) for '15-'18 GT350's but there are two horizontal creases in place that the earlier factory panels didn't have.

I like it when I can see tread from the top of the car.

Looks good. When you get a full one I would like to see it. Just got a set of 6GR's R spec for the street with 4S tires. For sure have to plan the cruise out for sure.

Here are rear wheel comparison shots promised: OEM CF R setup w/Michelin SC2 315/30/19 on the left side, and R-spec Signature SV108s w/Michelin 4S 325/30/19 on the right.

From the rear fender the 315 protrude 1/2", while the 325 4S pokes out 11/16" - a mere 3/16" more than stock. (Differences between the front 305/30/19 SC2 and PS4S are insignificant)

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! I greatly appreciate the effort you took along with providing measurements! I will most likely end up with cup tires in a 315 size! While the poke on the 325s is not great it is also not the look I want. Plus the cups are certainly lighter.
