Hi guys,

My Mustang is nearly here on the Talisman with HybridGT and a few others , and I'm finally starting to look at a the the cost of a few mods I'm interested in doing.
In particular after seeing how badass the GT350 looks I'm very keen on a Quad Tip exhaust, and the following is a list of prices I've got straight from the various company websites. I haven't directly asked for any quotes or discounts.

Option 1:
Ford Racing Quad Tip Sport or Touring (Cat-Back) with GT350 rear valance: $2160USD / $3057.63AUD
This is especially appealing since it includes the GT350 rear valance which I love the look of.

Option 2:
Corsa Sport (Cat-Back) 4" Polished Black Quad Tip:
$1699.95USD / $2406.40AUD
Still requires purchase of Roush rear valance ($249.99USD / $353.88AUD )

Option 3:
Corsa Sport (Cat-Back) 4" Polished Quad Tip:
$1629.95USD / $2307.31AUD
Still requires purchase of Roush rear valance ($249.99USD / $353.88AUD )
Same as Option 2, only polished tips not black.

Option 4:
MagnaFlow Competition Series 3" Stainless (Cat-Back) Quad Tip, comes with Roush rear valance:
$1499.99USD / $2123.34AUD
Doesn't require separate purchase of the Roush rear valance, cheapest cat-back system.

Option 5:
Ford Racing (Axle-Back) Quad Tip Sport 2-1/2", comes with GT350 rear valance.
$1860.10USD / $2633.10AUD
Cheapest option so far, downside is Axle-Back only and for only another $500ish you can go Cat-Back.

Option 6:
Streetfighter (Cat-Back) Stainless plus Quad Tip upgrade:
$4131AUD ($2844 + $1287)
Includes Streetfighter rear valance for Quads, most expensive option although does not need shipping, ability to add Streetfighter warranty for extra $, local Australian company.

Option 7:
Streetfighter (Full exhaust, headers etc) Stainless plus Quad Tip upgrade:
$6620AUD:eyebulge: ($5333 + $1287)
Most expensive option by far, although is a full exhaust replacement, includes Streetfighter rear valance for Quads, does not need shipping, ability to add Streetfighter warranty for extra $, local Australian company. Can be tuned by Streetfighter.

I haven't yet priced shipping on these items, obviously the Streetfight options do not require shipping. Streetfighter do have combo packages that allow you to add various other common mods such as an airbox and tune.
At the moment I'm either leaning towards the Ford Racing W/GT350 rear (Cat-Back):ford:, or the Magna Flow (Cat-Back) purely on price alone.

Note: Prices from www.cjponyparts.com, www.steeda.com and www.streetfighter.net.au Streetfighter prices are including install, see below for non-installed pricing

Nice list! Don't forgot to account for paypal charges as well. They don't exactly give us the best rates. Add around 5 - 7 cents extra.

Unfortunately yes. Try to make an order and get to the PayPal screen. You'll see their "generous" rates are well below average.

You could always pay via bank transfer and stuff. But I'd advise against it. Was jipped on a $7000 deal 7 years ago. Guy closed shop and declared bankruptcy. Fled to another state.

In terms of shipping etc. If your "declared" order value on paper is over $1,000 AUD. Factor in an additional $0.20 to 25 cents PER DOLLAR of the entire item(s) value.

I don't know the exact figure, but my "invoiced" amount was around $2K USD. Was charged on the full amount.

Remove postage from the equation of course. Just items.

I like the sound of the Ford racing exhausts. If you like the rear valance that's the obvious option to go with aesthetically.

I guess if you prefer another exhaust note/tone over the Ford with gt350 valance, as long as the tips are in the same positions you could probably just hack the tips of a corsa or magnaflow exhaust off and sit it behind the gt350 valance, seems to be all they have done with the Ford one.

Why not do the yuvi and buy all of them?
I think he's ordered most already. Waiting to see photos of them, nothing thus far. Maybe his camera is broken?

Also I would recommend buying your exhaust from hypermotive they were great to deal with and helped with gst (read no gst).

Whereas lethal told me they would help and I ended up having to pay an extra $450 to the government. I wish I just bought everything from hypermotive to be honest.
