Ford will be all over their supplier like a rash but I'm surprised it hasn't emerged to the extent that it was fixed in US. These cars have been around for a couple of years now.

I'm working on the basis that prevention is better than cure. I have a plan...

;)

Best feeling is when car is clean (and run in so I can give it WOT)! Too much of a state at the mo to get too worked up about.

Strangely, it's my passenger side & it hasn't been washed or in the rain for last 5 days??
Will post a photo up of my wonky pony :help:

Drivers side Mustang Pony Puddle Light failure and it is getting worse. I have agreed with dealer to get if fixed at next service (about 8 months time).

Are all Mustang Pony Puddle Light failures on drivers side?

Welcome to the club!!!

I think we all just need to hassle dealers as much as possible. If there is a genuine fault with these parts (which I think there is), they should find a long term solution under warranty. The more noise we make about this, the more likely it is to happen.

If our part is different somehow to the US ones then no doubt it was designed & mass produced with not much testing?!

So i got mine sorted yesterday...i was in and out of the dealership in half an hour. Interesting note: aftet about 20 minites of waiting i asked one of the suits that was swanning around if i could take the part as i was in a rush, he was happy for me to do that. My car had been taken at that point so there was no need.

Annoyingly when i looked last night when it was dark, im not entirely convinced the image projected is where it was before. Its definitely at a bit of an angle and seems to be further back. I need to look again and i may try adjusting it myself, it litrally is a part that just unclips.

I didnt get a chance to talk to anyone about the problem, all too busy trying to flog fiestas. I would inagine that the [email protected] team would be a better bet for this info.

I will post here again when i get a chance to have a look properly...

So would you say its a part we can easily do ourselves at home? Saves a trip all the way down to the garage and back.

Mine looks like this - is this normal?

Anyone know if they're side-specific?

It occured to me today to swap them over so I don't have to look at the mess my driver's side has become all the time. Also, if the "new" one suddenly starts to go it would be a bit of a coincidence, no?
