Yeah that's a tough one. Could say this crucial part was missing and should have been included in original Delivery? Are you paying for the starter?

Edit. Jus re read your post about not paying

Still waiting on Kooks to decide if they're going to send me the starter motor, which got me thinking. If Kooks do send me a starter motor, would I still get taxed on an item that's cost me nothing ?
I had a pair of replacement Borla rear silencers sent over as a warranty replacement....

Didn't get a tax bill:thumbsup:

But I don't see why you should be mucking about with a starter motor.....Xforce, and Streetfighter have managed to make RH headers that fit without mods.... can't see why Kooks can't get it right

I get the feeling they haven't quite perfected it yet.

Swapping the starter motor is the cheaper and quicker solution, to them sending me their revised headers and me having to ceramic coat them again.

Oh boy, this has to be related to the steering wheel being on the wrong side :D

I installed mine (LHD) without any drama but I would never call it easy!

UPDATE...or lack of, I've not heard anything since Friday and it turns out the guy I've been dealing with and his boss are both on a conference this week. So looks like I won't be getting my car back for the bank holiday weekend :(

A great advert for street fighter headers. They need to get a UK agent pronto to capitalise

If they can send me some ceramic coated headers on a permanent loan basis, by the end of the week, it would definitely get one over on Kooks

I can the companies you mention are based in Australia where RHD Mustang is.

In the UK none of them are so I suspect Kooks did their fitment trials from photos, videos and CAD drawing, but limited actual on the car fitment testing which is why it is no doubt so damn close.

Plus all headers are wildly over priced for RHD, we need more contenders as Texas Headers is like $700 for a set, which shows how cheap they can smash them out, no reason why a UK company could not offer a solution for around ÂŁ1000 plus fitting.

For the prices Kooks charge, they should have done their fit up on a RHD car.

They did mate, it was from photo's and/or 3d models from ford, they've not done it on an actual car, Mikes testing the new set as his at the minute, back and forth with a new "easier" to use set.
