Rare to see two R's up at the same time on BaT.

I definitely think it will compete with the LFG car that sold recently. Potentially this could set a new record for standard R's. By standard I mean 2016 - 2020 cars. No HEPR's or VIn001 cars, ect.

In an auction, interested parties dictate the sell, unless thereā€™s a reserve. In other words, the market dictates what the market will offer rather than the gatekeeper regulating the action, which may be what the market is willing to absorb or refuseā€¦ two totally different premises.
The dealer can't force a sale without an interested buyer. So the buyers still dictate the sale - actually just one single buyer dictates it. The dealer is not a gatekeeper in the way that you mean. He's just a guy setting a price on a car. If no one buys the car, it will never sell, so the dealer can't really dictate. He needs a buyer willing to pay the amount he's asking. Just like an auction.

In an auction with a reserve, the buyers still dictate the sale. If the reserve is too high - no sale.

Iā€™m curious to see if it affects the prices being brought. Iā€™m of the opinion the 20ā€™s are going to bring high priceā€™s for quite some time. Guess weā€™ll see. I think the hepr on there now is going to go north of 170k.

Watching this one closely as I have a FP Blue with White stripes 2019R that may find itā€™s way onto BaT.

I think everyone wants to see their exact spec go up for sale just to see what it brings ;) I'd like to see an iconic R go up ;)
