I can't help you. While I love my GT350, I think I love my Z06 more.

You won't regret the Corvette, just a great sports car at any price.

C7dime a dozen imop but after over 15 new cars at the same dealership each car within 5 months and currently a 2016 SRT Grand Cherokee with 5k to trade for a 17 wrangler. They don't give a rats ass at all. I've ordered and traded hellcat, scat pak, 4 SRTs, 7 grand Cherokees, along with trading in 4 Shelbys , traded my HC with 20 miles on it for my 16 350. I'm not rich, I'm a firefighter here in NY and make an honest living and if my wife knew the $$ I lost on these cars I'd be living alone. My debt is over 60k but really I don't give a F, because I'm the only one bringing in salary and have my kids locked in for my pension and my retirement fund and you only live once. My dealer charged me 2k adm on my 16 350 and I was disheartened but I wanted the car. It's a numbers game. if you worry about a couple grand for what you really want then....... I can't say it. I spend more on crap during the year anyway. Cars make me happy and sorry I'm not going to my grave wishing what I always wanted. I have my wife and kids set up and if I get hit by a car or die, or Godforbid die in a fire, I'm worth millions more. To me I live in the moment, get what you want even if it's a C7, (puke, lol) and I'll worry and pay for it later one way or another!

For the amount of money, GT350 if you can get it for a reasonable price around MSRP. Those Grand Sports do look yummy though.

Speaking of which, what really differentiates a GS (non Z07) from say a Z51?

Me crazy, and I can't help myself
Thank you for your wisdom. It's very easy to put a trade in value on a run of the mill car. That's my f point . I'd never take the first offer on a trade. It's a game they play. Plus why trade in a 15 run of the mill car because you will take a big HIT. I have a feeling there's a lot of people on here that should not be trading every year for a new car. It's a generation that has to have it now. Not good and a sure way to the poor house. I'm just an old dude for sure.
I'm confused, so you don't keep a car longer than 2 years, but everyone else is the generation that has to have it now?

Suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, body and chassis(wider/lower), aero. Honestly the only thing the same is the engine. It's essentially a z06 with the standard engine. Idk about the interior, but who cares lol.

Well, it's a wide body car to start with. That's the major difference that I can see. Pretty sure there are suspension changes as well and MSRC is standard for the GS, where it is optional for the Z51.

I can only assume he is trolling, he has resorted to sending PM's now telling me trade for the GT500 when it comes and to get a life

The internet just exposes you to all sorts of crazy :D
It's called PM thanks

I thought the brakes were the same unless you got the Z07 Package.

As shitty as the Tech/Track package delineation was for MY16, it's nothing compared to the decoder ring you need to figure out what comes with which Corvette. Z51, Z07, Z06. ZFY. And I actually *like* these things.
