Hi guys. Any dyno results in Paxton 2200SL or Vortech JT Trim? I'm planning to get one of them but i didn't decided yet. which kit will make more power with 8-9 psi ?
Do a search and find plenty of results. Both will make similar power at the 8-9 psi range. Its when you have a built motor and want to push the blower to the max where the JLT will make more power.
the 2200 is an SL blower, it's self contained, has an rpm max of 52000 (some will overspin a little)
i have had a car go as quick as 8.9's with the sl on an 11-14, it is the "entry level" blower with the paxton vs the v3 with the vortech kit. on the 15's i recommend going to at least the 2200 as these engines are def better than the 11-14
you can upgrade the cost of the v3/2200 package we do to a jt trim for $400. the jt trim is an "hd oil fed case", it has a max rpm of 60,000, (some will overspin, were currently at 78k on ours....lol, but dont' recommend that for customers)
for $800 over the base v3/2200 you can get the "comp kit" which gives you the jt trim along with the 8 rib upgrade kit.
the 2200 for the $$ is hands down the best "bang for the buck" of any s/c kit available. 9 second potential on these cares" your good for about 850+ wheel.
the jt trim is good for about 1000 wheel. you just have to decide your future goals with the car,
for the value and growing potential, these kits are phenomenal, and as vortech and paxton's largest auto dealer in the world, we offer crazy good packages on them
