Has anyone installed the catch can that mounts next to the radiator? If so, can you empty the can without having to remove the radiator cover each time?

Thanks in advance.
Yes and yes. You only need to take off the radiator cover to install the mounting Hardware.

There is no need to remove the radiator cover.
Simply slip off both connections, and unscrew retaining nut.
BE CAREFUL - not has tendency to slip from between fingers and fall down onto bottom splitter tray...lol

This is the only photo I have at the moment of the catch can in situ.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind.

I like the way that sits in your engine bay, very clean.

This UPR one has the largest capacity, not that I would let it get full, but it only needs to be emptied at oill change. Some of the the others may need to be checked more frequently.
UPR have a great seperation system.

I was considering the JLT can but I agree the UPR separation system does look better.

Good to hear that it doesn't need to be emptied too often.

I got the JLT because it's a piece of cake when it comes to emptying it out and cleaning it...

Good point and it's also better priced, but the UPR can be mounted which gives it a cleaner look. In the end, if both are doing the job it just comes down to personal taste.

Emptied my ford performance oil air separator today and was interested to see how the supercharger effects it. Took about 40ml out after 4500km so it seems to be fairly similar to normally aspirated motors.

Omg don't get me started on that frigging clip/screw, Took me 15 mins to get it out, just have to mash it up a bit and yank!
I gave up after 30 seconds and just used side cutters to remove that clip. You blokes either have a lot of patience or some serious OCD hehe.

I have the JLT3 also which is very easy to install with the hose attachments being the same as the factory ones. Simply unscrew the bottom to empty and clean.
