The aluminum replacing the chrome is an excellent touch.

As I said in the other thread, people saying that their resale value of 15-17 went up must have been drunk. It just went down significantly, this is a much better car and it doesn't look bad at all.
Yep. Will lose your ass selling a 15-17. The 2018 is better in every way outside of the front bumper which is subjective.

That quad exhaust is beautiful, I'm assuming we will be able to retrofit that onto our 15-17 models

Anyone noticed the chrome bits are replaced with silver?
Yes! If that's accurate (and production) since those parts appear to be the same as the previous models, that looks like a perfect solution to "de-shiney" the interior.

Digital dash looks good, though! A little surprised there's no HUD.
Same! I kind of thought a HUD was going to become more of a standard especially on sporty/sports/GT type cars.

Now I see why this refresh has a look only a mother could love. They didn't use the same designer that designed the 2015-17 models. This new guy needs to be moved to a different department, he doesn't know how to design a mustang.
There was a lot of hate in the forums for the 2015 design when it was first revealed; I wouldn't doubt there were plenty of keyboard commandos calling for the designer's head or transfer...

The '15 was applauded heavily. I was at the Dearborn reveal for it.
Well sure, but 2015 wasn't a simple refresh, comparatively speaking. Though, I hear what you are saying.

-------

If the 2cm lower hood dramatically increases front end visibility, then this in combination with the 10speed, active exhaust and digital dash (and, of course, increased engine output), I could definitely be in for an 18.

Seems like there will be a lot of option boxes to tick off. Wonder how expensive things could get.

Agreed. It's a HUGE improvement across the board from design, tech, mechanical.

People have selective memories on here.

Doubtful. Probably new hardware.

WOW! What a difference good pictures make.

I love the refresh...at least as much as the 2015 now.
Yep. The pro pics make it look amazing.
