Just tried again, same error. New computer, new download, new32gb drive.

Wonder how much to have the stealer do it?

Anyone confirm the size of the file is supposed to be 2.17 gig for the non nav 3.0?

my error is mem error 03.

Good Luck. I wonder if the 2.2 update I did last fall screwed me. Not enough room in internal memory to buffer the incoming firmware while 2.2 is in place.

Shouldn't the unzipped file be bigger than the downloaded zipped file?
They are both the same size? Yet one says it is zipped!?

tar files are already compressed files, so they can't really be compressed anymore. The Zip is really just a method to keep the files and directory structure intact, in a file type that can be easily transported and uncompressed universally recognized format.

Your USB should only have one visible file in the top level directory called autoinstall.lst , which contains the list of files to be installed.

Your USB should only have one visible folder in the top level directory called SyncMyRide.

Within the SyncMyRide folder, you should have all the install files, such as:

JR3T-14G381-AL.tar.gz
GB5T-14G386-AA.tar.gz
HB5T-14G386-TCB.tar.gz

This is how the structure of files should appear on your USB.

If you look closely at the contents of the autoinstall.lst file, then you can see how the individual packages are selected for install - and how the names of the files in autoinstall.lst have to exactly match the names of the files in the SyncMyRide folder.

For those that aren't getting any success, please check this next... as maybe your USB has not got the files copied into the right place.

I think it looks right then. Here is what it looks like when you click the thumb drive (M) on the left column out of sight: When you click on the folder you get 7 TAR files. Should I move the other two files into the folder? The DONTINDX is empty (obviously).

OK, well that all looks fine to me!

Can you please share what the contents of the autoinstall.lst file looks like?

The filenames in autoinstall.lst need to exactly match what you have in the SyncMyRide folder...

Ah, sorry - open it with notepad.

Launch notepad, then do a file/open and in the bottom right hand corner select all file types rather than just .txt files and browse to the autoinstall file and click on it to open.

Tried again, I was able to downgrade to 2.2. Then, update to 3.0 and it went fine.

Though, when checking for updates, It tried to download something, do you know something about it?
