no clue. compare the MD5 or SHA256 checksums and find out.

I doubt they would have changed the tar.gz that simply checks to see which hardware you have (-TBB). It was bulletproof.

also... your tar.gz files aren't listed as tar.gz anymore... how did you extract them?

no, no. I meant why do you keep extensions turned off. It makes tricking somebody into opening malicious software much easier by simply modifying the displayed icon for a .bat or .exe knowing you'll think it's something else by the picture.

okay I dont know how true this is but a guy commented on a youtube tutorial video with the following quote

"Ok so I figured it out. If you download from the official version on Ford's website you need to rename all the files because Ford was stupid and named all the update .tar files to syncmyride####### so you need to make a folder called syncmyride and put all the .tar files in that folder and delete "syncmyride" part of all the files in the name. Then keep the autoinstaller file out of that folder in the flash drive"
