Seems more like a corporate structuring move to better allocate resources.

I don't think they need a badge.

Just keep Raptor, GT350, RS, ST, etc...

Just put "Ford Performance" on the owner's manual and showroom literature.

Well I'd rather see Mr. P than Hameedi. Jamal is too awkward to speak to reporters. No doubt he is good at what he does but PR ain't one of them.

generally speaking to reports is something that I do not need someone to be good at. it is probably the last thing on the list for someone who is to make the GT350 and RS and Raptor suceed

Kinda bummed they killed off the SVT name. :( Although reading that the new Ford Performance will introduce 12 new performance vehicles from now until 2020 makes me a very happy man indeed. :ford:

I could see them doing a special edition of the EB Mustang and calling it an ST. Maybe some of the goodies from the GT PP + a tune on the EB to make it about 350hp?

I'm thinking that the cars will keep their branding/badging and this is just a title for the team within Ford

maybe they'll use a slightly different Ford logo or something??
Black oval with red lettering in a more modern font would look cool,
but now I'm daydreaming..

So I know there was another discussion about what "Ford Performance" would be called but I figured I would post this little nugget here.
Go back and look at the videos on YouTube talking about the GT350, the teaser ones. Notice anything? The first thing in the video title in all 5 videos is... Ford Performance. They literally told us what the global name was going to be.... Without telling us.
