Yep also interesting that mag ride cars also get 350 hubs, 350 bearings and 350 rear lower arms and same equal coiled springs. The more 350 stuff underpinning the car the better. :)
The thing this... for 50K you can get a slightly used GT350.

Unfortunately by the time we'd been stiffed for import duty, VAT and conversion/registration it would be more like 70 to 80k :frusty:

if only we could get the 350 (r) over here i'd definitely have one of those instead of my GT
Ditto

no you would not
My California Special cost me only 2k more then a Euro Auto Vert and my one has 6k of extras on her, you can't get over here. And that includes all the import, tax, conversion and the IVA

Going via Canada saves you a packet

getting a fully loaded CS built in the factory, ordered by a dealer in Canada, saved me around 7k, If i had, had to pay US prices, could not have afforded it.
The car is shipped to the dealer checked over, then sent onto the UK
My importer I think is the only dealer that uses Canada

maybe I should ask him, how much a GT350 would cost?

OK, interesting - so is the car cheaper in Canada or are the import costs lower or is it a combination of both? We are talking about a used GT350 here though, so would you have the same saving? Would definitely be interesting to find out how much a new one would be.
