I think Reaction Time (r/t) only matters if you are racing head to head. It does not affect your 1/4 mi ET.

I don’t know anything about your car but your ET seems great!

R/T looks to be your main problem to me.
I agree. I think I'm happy with how the car performed overall. I need to get better both with my nerves and knowing my car.

First trip with street tires. I had a really late start off the line from being so nervous.

Welcome to any pointers.

That is a great slip for a first run down the 1320. My first time I had a good friend (NHRA competitor) coach me thru. Easy way to fix your reaction time, go on the last yellow bulb, my average reaction is .20, the guy who coached me has a daughter that competes now and she averages a .02. Just curious, what mode and traction settings were you running?

I posted in another reply. Those are amazing times!

I had basic traction control off.

My dad gave me the same advice before the first time I went on a strip.

Good overall time. Looks like your 60 foot should be a little faster though being an automatic

Here's a good article on drag racing note that perfect rt on provstreet lights where the amber lights come on all at once is o.4secs. On the tree where amber lights come on sequentially is 0.5secs.an average driver comes on at o.7secs
O.1sec difference of rt equals
1 car length at end.

Good run time for a track newbie! The more you go, the faster you’ll get!
