Another auto transmission/owner happy... still no reviews on manual
Yep and I see no reason to change anything unless I come up with a extra 6K in fun money some how :D.

Yes please let us know so the rest of us can keep an eye out for ours as well and not try to guess at what it is if ours start to act the same

Okay just got back from the dealership. It is indeed the TB. What's funny is the tech guy pretty much knew it was the TB once I said loss of drive. Unfortunately it'll be 2-3 days since they have to order the part. So if you see the rough idle when you haven't seen it before have your TB checked just in case.

So October mod is BBK TB.

Edit: I have about 4200miles on my odo

Just wondering if not having JLT oil separator would cause TB problums, so far I've been luckly installed the oil separator at 3500 miles.

I cant see the oil seperator making a difference on a faulty Throttle body from the jump. If its a defect to me it wont matter. my car had over 77 on it before i put the BBK on there, i had Zero issues with my stock throttle body, just got the BBK to help out my Roush CAI with all that extra breathing :headbang:

Most likely not, if anything it will help due to less oil being in manifold to the butterfly. This is probably the result of a bad batch of throttle bodies. Once it's replaced with another OE one it will probably never do it again. The S197s never had this issue. Also food for thought, there have been issues with the BBK 73mm unit as well (usually regarding calibration or losing response overtime).

I was wondering if you guys can help, I bought my SCT tuner and the MPT tune ( waiting for them to send) I wanted to mess with the tuner in the meantime but it won't turn on, I have to connect the USB and then it starts to work, now I check the tuner on my friends car (same car only difference his is manual my automatic) and it works perfectly I check ALL fuses and none are bad, anyone what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance

To connect use the OBDII port. I don't think the USB is connected to the car's computer and doesn't provide power if the car is off. The usb is used strictly to connect to the laptop.

When I connect to OBD2 it won't turn on I have to also connect to the USB to power on and then it starts reading the ECU
