I hated the fact that from time to time the panic alarm button would be accidentally pressed in my pocket. Confirmed that the following holds true for S550 just like it does for the F150:
726-37-01 xxxx xxx2 xxxx Panic alarm on fob enabled
726-37-01 xxxx xxx1 xxxx Panic alarm on fob requires 2 presses
726-37-01 xxxx xxx0 xxxx Panic alarm on fob disabled
I've set mine for 2 presses.

Nice! I'll be disabling mine tonight!

It'd be really nice if we could disable the trunk button, too. I worry that in all of the inadvertent presses of the buttons on the fob in my pocket, I've unlocked the doors, opened the windows, and popped the trunk while the horn sounds and lights flash...

So why is it when I go to change my Splash screen it only changes to the FORD logo or back to my stock GT PP logo?

7DO-02-01 5553 0602 C04A (Stock)
7DO-02-01 XXXX XDXX XXXX (GT)
C (RS)
B (ST)
9 (GT350 Red)
Etc ....

Doesnt matter what value I put into it (where the D is) it switches to Classic Ford.
When you edit the APIM as-built, make sure you turn the car all the way off and open the driver side door and wait a bit.

Also, you need Sync 3 v 2.2 for some of those.

ETA: Also have you changed 7D0-03-01 xxxx x*xx xxxx? The shutdown splash is affected by that setting.

What change needs to be made to 7D0-03-01?

I just enabled the GT splash with 7D0-02-01, but still need to watch how it acts.

Check the F150 spreadsheet, seems like those lines work better in harmony.

For example, 7D0-02-01 controls the startup splash. You can set this to the GT splash, but you won't see the GT shutdown splash unless you change 730-03-01 to the GT theme.

I still wonder if the main problem you may be running into is not letting the APIM shut off completely. If you just hit the ignition to cut power to everything, you'll note the screen stays powered on. Until you see that thing go inky black for a bit, the APIM hasn't power cycled and your as-built changes won't take effect.

So whoever has the GT splash startup screen 7D0 02-01 and has it working, log back in and see how the checksum translated it. Just cut/paste the string here on the forum. It should show something other than xxxx XDXX xxxx.

The XDXX does not work. It seems that I need the real string and not the XXXX where it auto changes the check sum.

7DO-02-01 5553 0902 C04D works for the red 350 Splash. You can also let it in as xxxx x9xx xxxx. I changed only this using the string provided by someone else and it works for start up and shut down. The 7DO 03-01 I did not change. Currently the car does the Red GT350 animation.

Still wanting the numbered string as opposed to the xxxx string for both 02-01 and 03-01. I have Sync 2.2 and it is saved.

I'm confused. I hope you're not typing in all those "x"s. All the x's mean you leave those values alone (leave it to whatever they were as-built). You only change the specified position. To get your original values in case you did change them see https://www.motorcraftservice.com/asbuilt and set them back to what they were.

Vote for Les... that was the issue. It's all up and running now, splash and theme!

I got the GT startup screen to work.

The shutdown screen is now a Ford Oval... which may be the result of something I did a while back. I kind of like it this way.
This is my setup, too. GT startup and Ford Oval shutdown. It's probably because you changed the theme in 7D0-03-01 to something other than the Mustang theme. Is your audio screen red instead of blue?

papinist, pardoneo, this will not work on my car ! :frusty:

Have you tried it on your cars ?

Simultaneous High Beams & Fog Lights Disabled BCM 0726-27-01 xxxx xxx1 xxxx

Simultaneous High Beams & Fog Lights Enabled BCM 0726-27-01 xxxx xxx0 xxxx
I haven't tried because I noticed that my fog lights already working _with_ high beam! :ninja:
Uhh ? How can this be possible ?? :eyebulge: :paddle:
I know it's strange.. when I checked I thought it was an euro\export setting, but now I'm realizing that it's not the same for you! I had to double check that
To clear things out I double checked this and can confirm that in my car fog lights work with high beams, and also with turning lights!
I know that from pictures you can't identify high\low beams but trust me it's true.. There is no reason to lie

:ninja:

I've replaced the ugly EU halogen fog lights with US LED fog lights, but it should not makes any difference.
