Ive allways thought when modifiying a vehicle it should be performance before appearance

Being my first v8 and next toy to play with, i have a few questions regarding how everyone is planning or has allready modifed their mustang

I personally have the following planned out for mine
1st cat back corsa extreme (installed yesterday)
2nd kw v3 coilovers and lower control arms
3rd intake
4th brake upgrade to existing brakes if possible if not BBK upgrade
5th whipple supercharger, 1000cc injectors and custom tune
6th clutch will definately need an upgrade im thinking
I guess after this point ill focus on visual mods..

Has anyone upgraded the existing brakes or clutch and have any reccomendations?

Well, mine's on the Salome sailing across the Pacific at the moment, but mods wise, it'll probably go something like this:

1st straight from dealer to exhaust shop for muffler delete
2nd Eibach sportline lowering (springs are already sitting around waiting)
3rd intake

That's it for the time being

Your best bet is to have a chat with Morgan Newton on FB. She has whipple, has replaced halfshafts and clutch. Clutch was problematic.
You say you're replacing the LCA's. With what?
Other upgrades you will ABSOLUTLEY require with blower and heavy right foot, lockout kit at minimum, ideally toe/knuckle bearings and LCA bearings. Wheel hop and driveline survival are mutually exclusive.

..

one of the most important thing is the suspension but I have not been able to decide which way to go. Spoke to a JRZ supplier recently I would love to have them but they just seem to be too much. If the JRZ Pro Sport is perfection I just need to find an option close to it. I am thinking running stock suspension with the sway bars for my track day on 25 June to see how it goes first and then decide. At least get some miles behind the stock parts first.
