I was excited to see MMD release some carbon fiber parts. They showed up yesterday. Havent got them installed yet but test fit and initial impression is great. The carbon fiber weave looks great and they have a flawless finish. I'll be adding pics once installed, hopefully later today.

Are the taillight bezels a cover or replacement? If they're a replacement what's involved with the removal of the OEM ones? Is it just held on via 3M or something similar?

If only MMD would make a carbon fiber decklid that would match the finish and weave of the light surrounds.

Plenty of other companies make them though.....trufiber, carbon driven, Anderson composites etc etc.

Those tail bezels are beautiful! I am assuming they're held on by tape?

I'd love to see how they look on a black stang.

The problem with mixing carbon fiber from two companies right next to each other, such as the tail light bezels and decklid, is that the weaves may be different and the clear coat may be a different thickness. The resulting differences when right next to each other can look very obvious and kill the clean carbon fiber look. But a hood and a decklid, differences don't matter too much. Carbon fiber is like blending paint. I had a lot of it on my sn197.

Attention to detail is such a horrible trait to possess, no?

That would kill my OCD just as a root-canal would. :headbonk:

yeah I prefer not to mix cf as its super hard to match. the bezels are held on by tape. Mirror caps are installed, haven't done the tails yet. Took the top and doors off the jeep instead :D
