Just had another member measure his GT350 intake tube, and its pretty much 3.8 inches or 96.5 MM from filter to TB. So the 2018+ intake airbox lid and tube is bigger then the GT350!!!

Yeah was not expecting that large of a difference if any. I guess one could make the mishimoto fit but you would have to use couplers and then that pretty much defeats the purpose...Just had another member measure his GT350 intake tube, and its pretty much 3.8 inches or 96.5 MM from filter to TB. No one has confirmed it yet but based off of the dimensions it probably will not fit. The reinforced silicone pipe simply does not stretch as far as it would need to to fit our airbox. So there's no confirmation of this fitting the 18 GT yet?
Sooooo 2 choke points then. if that's not the magic I know lol.The magic of the mishi is the middle or belly of the tube is 121mm!!!
Induction is just a wee bit more complex than that.Sooooo 2 choke points then. if that's not the magic I know lol.
I'm using it on my 2016 GT with '18 intake. Had to had cap 2 of the connections on the intake tube.So there's no confirmation of this fitting the 18 GT yet?
The intake is not the issue. Like I said previously, the shape of a 2018 induction hose is identical to a 15-17. The issue rests in the 2018 airbox outlet diameter being much larger the a 15-17 You might be able to get the Mishimoto induction hose working by modifying it with additional silicone couplers but I don't believe it will simply stretch far enough to fit.I'm using it on my 2016 GT with '18 intake. Had to had cap 2 of the connections on the intake tube.
You already have a 2018+ airbox on your car? Or a 2018 GT with a Mishimoto intake tube?I'm using it on my 2016 GT with '18 intake. Had to had cap 2 of the connections on the intake tube.
I didn't do it. Been running on the induction tube for at least 6 months and never had a problem.I read in another thread that before installing this induction tube, I should disconnect negative battery terminal and MAF sensor to reset. However I didn’t see this step in Mishimoto’s installation video. Can someone please confirm this is necessary?
I had a heck of a time getting the Mishimoto tube over my 85mm throttle body. That's only (supposed to be) 5mm extra. BUT, the 13mm extra might be possible if you add some heat. You already have a 2018+ airbox on your car? Or a 2018 GT with a Mishimoto intake tube?
