I doubt many people have had both, but if you have heard both what are your impressions?

Which one is deeper? Smoother tone? Louder?

Drone doesn't bother me so I really don't care if it drones, I rarely drive on the highway anyways

It could just be me, but they both sound very similar to me, and the price is about $500 or so cheaper on the side of MBRP, that's why i went with them.

Yea they both sound very similar. Catback vs catback the MBRP wins on price , but I think I'd just swap the axleback for magnaflows since I already have the xpipe so the cost isn't as big of a factor in that case.

Videos never do exhaust systems justice, I just want something that has absolutely no rasp

I'm a little biased since I have the MF competition catback, but the tips on the MF look amazing. If that is something that matters to you.

I had MBRP race and I loved it. My buddy had the magnaflow comp and they sounded a lot alike. I wouldn't pay the price difference for the magnaflow.

When you say 'had' did you switch to something else? Too loud?

It wasn't too loud with the cats on but I figured it would be too loud in the morning once I installed the cat deletes so I sold it and bought the solo Mach XV.

We ran the Magnaflow competition kit with our resonator delete for a bit before we went with the full ARH setup. Here's a video of how it sounded on our car.

Haha yea I saw that you guys have awesome prices on both, that's a big reason I'm considering them.

You guys also ran a resonator delete with the Roush right? I had that setup before and found the cold start a bit too loud for my liking and the tone was a bit too harsh, not smooth enough for my liking. How did the magnaflow setup compare in person?

MBRP is going for just under $600 right now. That's a tough price to beat man.

Haha I know! I could buy that and sell off my x pipe and FRPP touring AB and make a few bucks too

Screwdgie, our competition system will have a slightly deeper, and more refined tone. This system has been such a hit with the mustang community that we recently released a third version with carbon fiber tips. Besure to check it out if you havent yet, and please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you!

Both bring out the growl of the V8, but like many have stated, MBRP is the better bang for your buck. A lot of our customers still purchase the Magnaflow Comp system though!
