Lots of 2017 Convenience Package cars at dealers

6'3 and 280. I'd need a really big shoehorn I did sit in them and for a 20 miles cruise, no problem but I commute 3 hours once a week and they would be unbearable for me for that length of time.

It appears as though the hold on the Convenience Package cars is definitely a thing of the past! With looking around the country right now at inventory it looks like the dealers are only getting in Convenience Package cars at the moment, perhaps to make up for the hold they had for a while.

Finding an Electronics package car coming in or as a recent arrival seems to be a rare find at the moment.

I'm glad they were able to fix the problem with the seats!

Well Ford did offer a "racecar" without coolers. :shrug:

A mistake they corrected in 2017. That's why you never buy the 1st year production for any vehicle....

So, am I missing something? Convenience Pack is basically Electronics Pack with leather seats, right?

Why do they cost the same on Ford's website? Both packs are 3K... Seems like one is way over priced or the other is a 'deep' discount if you want the cooled/heated seats.

One is clothed Recaros and one is Leather manufacturer seats.

So ford is letting you decide which upgrade you want over cloth manufacturer seats. (I know no GT350 comes with standard cloth seats)

Correct, the names may be deceiving but the electronics are the same. It is all about the seats.

Yeah it doesn't make much sense, I had to double check the things that came with each package before I ordered to make sure I wasn't missing something! :lol:

Do you mean getting the leather seats with the base radio?

That would seem to be a very unpopular option.
