I have seen chassis numbers of 500 for the R and 5499 for the standard GT350, so those may numbers were not final.

I would suggest that the above production numbers include all of the regular production and pre-production cars built for the 2016MY but will let you confirm that.

For example when the Limited Edition Boss 302 Laguna Seca's came out in 2012 the highest chassis number that I am aware of was "LS750" and yet the official production numbers from Ford show a total of 787 Laguna Seca's built for the 2012MY and that was because Ford built Laguna Seca's with chassis numbers that started with "TT" "PP" and "MP" and suggest that Ford built numerous pre-production R models for the 2016MY as well.

I have driven a number of 2016 GT350 pre-production cars including a couple of R models and the chassis numbers were "PPXX" and suggest that none of these PP cars will reach the general public therefore suggest that we will not have a GT350R with chassis number as high as "GR526" but could be wrong.

Also keep in mind that there are 2016 "R" models out there with chassis numbers such as "CBB 1" and "G089" and "G090" which only adds to the total number of R's built for the 2016MY.

Let's hear from all of the guys that have chassis numbers that exceed "GR500".

Based on a conversation that I had today I suggest that GR500 would be pretty much the last regular production R model produced in FR unless someone can come up with a chassis number to the contrary!

2016 Gt350 Final production numbers

GR500 Could very well be the last one in that series, we'll see if anything else comes up. The 2016 production numbers on GT350.net are unconfirmed at this point.
Curious what the highest base G chassis number that has been identified? :ford:

Based on my understanding John Hennessey got the last 2016 R model being chassis # "GR499" but I could be totally wrong.

This is the closest that I have come to buying one of the last GT350R's and it was for sale at Crossroads Ford in Cary, N.C. earlier this summer.

Let's see if anyone comes up with a "GR500" or beyond that number?
