Has anyone experienced a knock/ticking noise around 1500 to 1700 RPM, cold or hot? Louder when cold. Doesn't matter if it's clutch in or out. No mods done to the car.

Doh. Suppose this should be in a different section.

Try adding a video of it to help us diagnose it.

A slight knocking noise when cold around that particular RPM is normal. Clearances in the engine are slightly different when cold vs. when at operating temp. Ford sent out a service message addressing the issue when the coyote was first released. Also, if this sounds like an exhaust leak, there is a TSB for an exhaust leak on the 2015 GT's.

Hope this helps!

I'll check it out a little more today. It's noisy at 1700 rpm cold or hot.

My car sounds exactly like that since my first oil change. Dealer said another car on the lot made same sound. It is not an exhaust leak. I have a new exhaust system from the heads to the bumper now with the same sound. So far the car has help up to my abuse and 30 plus dyno pulls. I'm waiting on some news from ford to issue a tsb.
