I am after some advice on the affect of modifications on your insurance. I have three planned mods as soon as the car arrives:
1. Exhaust (Axle Backs)
2. Suspension (Springs)
3. BMR CB005 Sub frame Lock out.
I have told the insurance company and it has only added around £40 pa to the insurance (quoted £340 PA). That's all great no issues at all, I was debating whether it was worth telling them for the above mods but am glad I did.
However, as I intend to make some more changes as time goes on, what mods hit insurance the most? I am guessing any tune or power boost, if so by how much? I would love to add some power but if it throws the insurance into the too difficult to quote area it will become a pain. Any advice is welcome.
