  1. Last Ditch Attempt to sell those MY15-17's!

Cheaper??? Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Mclaren........ None offer a stick shift, Mclaren never have.... “Brett Boydell, Bentley’s head of interior design. He said Bentley customers haven’t even inquired about a stick shift option for decades. “The thinking from a...
  2. Last Ditch Attempt to sell those MY15-17's!

Porsche are actually reducing stick shifts, in line with all performance car manufacturers, although to be fair, unlike most they do still give manual as an option for some, only specials have the stick only (911R, Cayman GT4 - neither of which are made anymore), all of the performance ones are...
  3. Potential GT buyer

If you can try and get it for the whole of Summer, great Summer car.... not the best Winter car!!
  4. MY18 when do you expect delivery?

Totally agree, (they offered £31k for mine and I could only get them up to £32k) I would not buy another car from Eastleigh, they knew nothing about the Mustang at all. While the Performance centre was OK (actually pretty good), the main dealer was shocking, even a month or so ago they...
  5. Exhaust Mods...what did you fit and why ?

Roush Axle backs for me, absolutely loved the sound......
  6. MY18 when do you expect delivery?

Mine (Eastleigh) had no problem with my mods as long as I had the originals which I did, handed car over with all the originals in the boot...... Very easy.
  7. Which is the "best" dealership for servicing/issues down south???

I found the Eastleigh Performance ford centre good, but I agree with Jmboy2 the main dealer was not brilliant, they knew very little about the car.
  8. Potential GT buyer

Does it have to be new? Why not get a lightly used 17 plate and save a wad?? If they are not discounting unregistered, there are plenty of used to look out for. Don't forget to keep some money for a few 'essential' mods. If you like the Nismo (friend had one) you will want the exhaust done...
  9. Dealer stock discounted new MY17s

Wow, great deal on insurance, well done, I paid £37K for my MY17 (Apr car) and only got £32K in October (6 months) with 4.5K miles on it in immaculate condition. Then add the mandated mods for an MY17 (another £2K) and MY17 get a big hit in the early days, but I am guessing the market for...
  10. Why I cancelled

Gibbo, did the AWD help the handling or is it the SVR tweaks that make it special, so would a V6S AWD or V8 AWD handle (accepting less grunt) OK?
  11. Why I cancelled

Awesome, very jealous. I have to wait a couple of years before I can choose my next car..... F Type is definitely a contender, helps my wife loves them (helps me justify the spend!)!!
  12. What color and spec as every gone for 2018 mustang

Unless its changed, no Parking sensors as standard, I added the rear and got the Dealer to fit the front, although they were great, they were not factory fitted so had a separate switch on the dash to disable and were a bit 'temperamental'!! I wanted front due to the long bonnet and low front end.
  13. OFFICIAL FORD MY18 PRICING FOR UK!

You can get a number of less than a year old M4s for £49k (2017) with low mileage (one with 103 miles) from main dealers......... 2017 M4 or 2018 Mustang..... difficult choice. 2017 M2s again low mileage dealer cars £42K.........
  14. OFFICIAL FORD MY18 PRICING FOR UK!

On looks and sound YES, but not on build quality, reliability, point to point speed, dealer network............ Although I am not a fan of the M2!! M4 Comp for me!!
  15. OFFICIAL FORD MY18 PRICING FOR UK!

£10K more than my MY17 is too much for me. I sold the MY17 because I could not live with the car as a keeper, cost cutting all over the place (crap headlights, poor panel fit, plastic parts and handbrake on wrong side to name but a few), loved the look and sound (after exhaust mod) sadly the...
  16. Poor headlamps

I agree, the lights are really poor, sadly another cost saving by Ford, lower power bulbs to avoid having to fit headlight washers!
  17. Anyone else feeling the MY18 urge?

Sadly too many flaws, I will wait until I see it in the flesh, I could not live with my MY17 long term, rubbish headlights, average build quality, poor cabin layout (RHD), poor Auto box and the size/practicality just did not work for me. Don't get me wrong I loved the look of the MY17, a...
  18. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

Drove it for the last time... to the dealers to sell.... A great summer to remember in the Mustang, but sadly it was just not the right car for the next few years. Thanks to everyone for the advice and support, this is a great forum.
  19. So how was your Ford experience today?

I am still using Eastleigh, booked in for oil change next Friday (6 months old and 3955 on the clock) I don't really care as they will pay for it! Would look at Portsmouth but was not impressed when I went to look at buying from them some 18 months ago, hopefully they have changed!! Interested...
  20. Is this what I think it is? ....

Totally agree, because they are 'discreet' (dull/boring), their owners seem to 'need' to prove their spending. Shame, nice car but very euro box boring, and as for their owners.........
