The picture is going to be tricky. But it's my bootlid and it keeps getting covered in fine fibres, they just go to dust as soon as you wipe them but they seem metallic. They are very uniform, straight and about 3-4mm long. I tried a magnet and they don't seem to stick. My only thought is they...
I had my stripes put on by the detailer who then did GTechniq. He said the stripes could be done later after a few months but wouldn't recommend it. The benefit of the stripes on first is they also get protection, making them easier to clean.
I've fitted these to a UK Mustang and only had to loosen the hinge and straighten up and because it was so small everything stayed aligned. No flex either.

So went for fully ceramic coating, polish and interior protection. Bonnet stripes and side strips added, ready for the sunshine this weekend. Off to Modurstang at the end of the month for the more interesting stuff. :)
