thats what im looking for atm, trying to find an ext cab 01+ ranger to give it a 4 inch suspension lift and some good mud terrains, hard part is finding a ranger for under $5000 that hasnt been beaten to death.

If you're going mud truck, a full size would be better suited.

nah no mud truck, mostly overlanding on backtrails out west when its not being used for work which is a lot of dirt and sometimes not so thick mud whenever it rains. trying to find a decent condition one and throw some front and rear lockers on it with a mild lift, 4" max probably.

You had to know you were gonna get some sheet with this, but if done right, and I mean right, not just a lift and some big tires. real suspension, real engineering, it would be freaking awesome and everyone would love it

Took some measurements today and looks like this isn't going to happen. Can't even up the tire radius 2 measly inches without hitting the wheel well and there's no way in hell I'm cutting or rolling the fenders. Largest tire you could probably fit in there is 255/50/r19 or 29 inches before things start rubbing. That will only give you an extra 1" of ground clearance. Might not even be worth it to try to put in 3" coil spring spacers if you can't even clear the tire front and rear.
you didn't think you were going to just throw a lift on it and be able to pull it off. you're talking at least $15K to $25K to match up with that Challenger concept

yeah getting a lift and 35s on a car with a wheel well like the mustang is gonna be expensive, a lot of truck owners even have to cut or beat the truck with a hammer to get no rubbing issues.

Do'et. I wonder if you had a 5.0 if you could get the f-150 4x4 transfer case in there if it would fit. Would be sick.
