Learn to take a joke people. I am not one of the rude ones on this site, there are plenty of those to go around here. If you want a list that can be provided.

Maybe you're not always a rude person, but it doesn't mean your comment in this case wasn't rude; joke or not. Doubling down by blaming others for an inability to take the supposed joke while offering no apology doesn't help your case either. We've all got the ability to be jerks to one another in moments, even if we're not regularly considered jerks or if we didn't mean to be at all. Recognizing that and being willing to apologize for it can go a long way.

Even if, in the best case scenario, others were on your side and let the OP know there was an overreaction to a joke, have some empathy here. OP is clearly dealing with some stressful personal stuff right now; so the ability to "take a joke" may be a bit hindered right now.

I definitely would have gone with the intercooler either before or at the same time as the charge pipes, those aren't doing much without any increased cooling capacity.

But I like the suspension mods idea, that's what I started with myself and might do the IC towards the end of the year.

Definitely get the frustration of rude people, especially when you're already dealing with personal stuff that has you stressed enough. But, you don't owe anyone, rude or otherwise, any sort of explanation as to why your budget/hobbies/interests are what they are (assuming they aren't hurting anyone, of course). Don't forget that. Aside from that, stay strong in your fight with cancer. My prayers go out to you.
Thank you for the reminder and your kind words

There's a dozen threads on HPDE upgrades in that section. You might want to scan thru them?

It's in my sig, Ford Performance Track Shocks and Struts paired with BMR SP083 springs and CB005 cradle lockout kit. I've also got the PP strut tower brace and firewall extension brace installed. Pending install are the lower PP pieces and FP Track sway bars sitting at home.

No worries. I didn’t mean to offend. I was just having a little fun. Good luck with the car.

If you had only 500 dollars

THEN:
I bought a car while in my senior year at college for $200.00 and a bicycle.
I would have $300.00 left over while driving a 1974 International Scout.

Sure, times have changed, and the dollar was different; I could have spent the difference on:
- Wings were $0.10/per wing (they had just been around for a short time)
*That would be 3000 wings today
- Gas was $0.85 - $0.90 per gallon
*That would be 352 gal - $330gal. of gas today
- Beer averaged $4.00/six pack
*That would be 75 six packs of beer today

NOW:
I can buy one (1) OEM tire for my car...!
* Go Home... money spent... no wings, no gas & no beer for you.
Enjoy your Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire…. Not installed.

I don't get that. How is that you buy a car and then you have to pay for things like "acceleration boost" or "heated rear seats", on a recurring basis? Sometimes I think that working an honest job and trying to do that with integrity and professionalism is wasted in this world.

For the 500$, well, I'll go for the intercooler... but maybe you'll have to optimize the ECU strategy after... don't know if they are enough. Are you doing the install yourself?

If I only had $500 I would’ve bought a Hyundai or Kia and been done with it. Why bother buying this car.
this response is absolute horseshit. you need a timeout.

to the OP, EB cars need a better fmic from the get go. i'd do that and some cheap subframe lockout spacers.
