how much is your insurance ?

Hey guys so I ordered the car in may n had no idea what the insurance would be like . I had no choice but to pay whatever it is . I m 24 n got a gt premium , called insurance yesterday. It went up from 180 on my 2010 Genesis coupe to 213 a month. I was expecting a lot worse! What are you guys paying? . BTW this is me listed as a driver but under my dads plus we have 12 cars under the insurance

Just contacted my insurance company yesterday. We are paying $660/6 months now for a 08 Odyssey & 11 Sportage. Our policy has higher coverage than the state minimum & $500 deductible. (Our 2 Mustangs are on a separate collector car policy, which makes them much cheaper to insure.) Not sure if we are going to keep the Odyssey or Sportage, so had them quote me both ways. Depending on which one we replace, our premium will actually go DOWN by $50 to $55 over 6 months.

Couldn't get an exact quote because the 2015 GT wasn't in their system yet and I didn't have the VIN, but I was quoted at $1400/year, about $117/month. 29 male, no accidents since my teens. And thats full/max coverage with a $1000 deductible.

The price jump was actually less than I expected, I'm currently paying $1187/year on a Mazdaspeed 3.

28yo Male. on my 2013, I pay $462 per 6-months, $77 a month... I contacted Nationwide and the 2015 will only bump up my pmt $6 a month... Full coverage, $500 deductable... No accidents or tickets...

I remember when I got my 93 5.0 as a 18 year old paying something stupid like 2500-3k a year in insurance. It was red, that style was a magnet to car thieves, and we lived in a not so hot area at the time.


BTW, can we sue for discrimination since they're charging a higher premium to males? Where's Gloria Allred when you need her?

Insurance has got to be the most subjective items about a car. Not sure what anyone stands to glean from these threads...
