Is this common? I notice it toward the end of the straight at my track when I'm hitting over 120. Unnerving but hopefully not an issue.

Yes, all to common. Many topics in the past discussing the concern.

It's normal. 1st time on the track with an instructor, we hit over 140 at BIR and he freaked thinking the hood was going to blow up. Haha. Light weight aluminum to blame. All is good, it won't go anywhere......................famous last words.lol

Does anyone have in-car video showing the hood lift issue? I was at the track last week and I didn't notice any hood movement and even reviewing my video I don't see it. Maybe I'm lucky with my car.

Raise your hood bumpers to tighten up the hood alignment. I did this about 8k miles ago and no hood lift since.

Mine does it over 80. Quite scary at the track, I must say.

I may try this. I suppose every car is slightly different regarding how tight the hood is from the factory.

For comparison my C5 Z06 hood would shake pretty good when at the track. Especially at 140+.

On my GT350 flutter begins at the track around 140. Hard to concentrate when I see it.

I removed the underyray from the front of my car and it stopped. Something to do with pressure inside the engine compartment?

Try tilting your head back as far as it can go.
