On a GT, what type of rwhp gains are to be expected out of a Lund tune with a CAI and catback?

I couldn't find one, but feel free to point me to an existing thread.

Thanks.

A catback will have zero gains, a CAI very minimal. Expect 25 -30 on the tune.

Cant tell you numbers yet but a Steeda CAI without restrictor + lund tune = totally different car. Its right at the edge of almost being too much for the street in its aggressive shifting (at least for an auto) and lack of torque management lmao.

Had mine on the dyno a few months ago with PMAS CAI, Lund 93 Nguage and Solo Thunder. Went through two pulls and could only get 359hp out of the car and I was not a happy camper. I reloaded the tune and put down 401 on the next pull. Somehow the tune wasn't loaded and the PMAS wasnt throwing a code. Not sure what happened, but I got a before and after pull out of it.

Are some tunes better for manual and some better for auto?

Example - would Bama be better for manual and Lund better for auto?

Thanks

25-30 RWHP from a tune alone?

And Akwarreng- "about 40"

Seeing that the cat back adds nothing, and as you said the CAI (which is mostly sucking in hot air)- what tune are you guys running that you are seeing these kinds of numbers? Not being argumentative, but that sounds rather excessive.

Thanks

What would be a reasonable number to expect for a exhaust, tune , and CAI?

Bama is the bottom of the barrel for tunes. Bama and better don't go together.

It will place you around 400-410whp depending on fuel quality but remember you will need to rev that puppy.

So are most just going with a well know tune and staying stock engine wise?

lol.

For these simple mods, Bama will be perfectly fine and allow him to grow with some more simple mods + get him a tuner for a decent price of $375 (X4).

The overwhelming majority of the people who complain about Bama either 1. are parroting some story they read online or 2. didn't datalog and don't even know how. I've used Bama, VMP, Lito (3v S197 specialist), and one other I can't remember off the top of my head. Once they each had their chance to adjust the tune based on datalogs, no one was noticeably different than the other on the street.
